Thomasville Shopping Center is a 77,104 square foot project located on busy Highway 19 in Thomasville, Georgia. Thomasville is located in South Georgia, approximately 35 miles northeast of Tallahassee, Florida. This project was a former Wal-Mart, which a Vanguard affiliate purchased in 2004, and redeveloped to include Tractor Supply Company, Goodwill, Cititrends, and Buddy’s Home Furnishings. In addition, we renovated an adjacent wing of shops and leased to a number of smaller chains and service businesses. Lastly, we created an outparcel in front of the project; this was sold to Chic-Fil-A, which acts as a significant traffic generator for the entire project.
Thomasville Shopping Center is located on the busiest retail intersection in the trade area; other corners of the intersection are occupied by tenants such as CVS, Office Depot, Belk, and TJ Maxx. Other area retailers include Wal-Mart Supercenter, Publix, Lowe’s Big Lots, Roses, and Dollar Tree. The property has direct traffic light access, and outstanding visibility.
